Dacian Petroleum is an independent producer of crude oil, natural gas, and electricity. We manage 40 mature oil and natural gas perimeters in Romania, taken over in 2021 through transfer from OMV Petrom. We work carefully to keep them in production, under safe and controlled conditions. We operate with a specialized technical and administrative team, capable of responding quickly to field needs and industry-specific requirements.
Through rigorous technical planning, with our own teams or through external partnerships, we improve well performance and access unused resources from the 40 mature perimeters. By using stable techniques, we maintain the working installations in good condition, under conditions of responsibility towards local communities and the environment.
The company's objectives are directed towards three directions:
- Rethink the operating method, analyzing data, processes, and infrastructure to increase efficiency and stability.
- Rehabilitate wells with reduced or non-productive output, to extend the lifespan of the deposits.
- Reuse existing assets through alternative uses, such as alternative energy projects, natural gas storage capacities, and depleted reservoirs for CO2 capture.
The shareholder portfolio includes natural and legal persons, with residences in the USA, UK, and the Netherlands, and the company's administrative and management bodies are composed of individuals with vast experience in the oil and gas industry.
